Airport security

Based on advanced computed tomography and X-ray technologies, Morpho’s explosive trace detection (ETD) systems and explosive detection systems (EDS) considerably increase security at checkpoints for passengers, luggage and cargo.

Morpho offers a complete family of explosive detection systems for luggage inspection at airports, based on the advanced imaging capability of computed tomography. One of the most recent members of this family, the CTX 9800, with 3D imaging capability, can inspect up to 1,000 pieces of luggage per hour.

This certification marks a major step forward in the deployment of high-tech EDS systems in Europe, and should enhance the efficiency of checked luggage controls.
