Sagem (Safran group) has developed expertise in the full range of technologies required for the development, production and integration of drones, also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV): aircraft, launch systems, gyrostabilized day/night optronic pods, mission planning, inertial navigation/flight control, and data/image transmission

Developed and manufactured entirely in France by Sagem, the Sperwer tactical drone system is in service with five armed forces (Canada, France, Greece, the Netherlands and Sweden). These drone systems are being used daily on missions in international theaters
