Messier-Bugatti-Dowty
The world’s leading designer and producer of landing systems, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty makes landing gear for more than 19,000 aircraft, including commercial and military airplanes and helicopters. It has built up outstanding expertise, enabling it to offer technically advanced, competitive and eco-responsible solutions.
Also a major player in aircraft braking, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty is one of the top two suppliers of carbon brakes for mainline commercial jets (over 100 seats). As a systems engineering and integration company, it also designs braking, steering, landing and monitoring (brakes, tires, landing gear) systems. It was selected by Boeing to provide the wheels and electric brakes on the 787 Dreamliner.
